Marketing Specialist - Cary, NC

BlueAlly Technology Solutions is actively looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Cary, NC! We are a $650M IT Services and Solutions provider and growing rapidly!

Our business is aligned with multibillion-dollar technology manufacturers and distributors, and BlueAlly Marketing collaborates directly with these companies to simultaneously manage demand generation campaigns, events, and trade shows for our Sales Team.

This is a fast-paced, onsite position and an opportunity for the right individual to be part of a dynamic and growing IT organization!

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of marketing campaigns, trade shows and events for IT Sales organization
• Accessing and working within over 25 major manufacturer portals
• Submitting qualified plan activities in portals for Marketing Development Funds from 100+ events and digital ecommerce activities
• Tracking marketing development funds activities from approval acceptance to final claim and aware of deadlines by multiple vendors
• Submitting proof of performance
• Reporting claimed activities to accounting
• Tracking internal marketing costs
• Tracking leads and ROI from events

• 2-3 years of professional experience working as a Marketing Assistant or Event Coordinator specifically for an IT Solutions Provider or Manufacturer.
• Experience with IT Sales & marketing campaigns, trade shows, event planning, and execution.
• Working knowledge of partner portals and overall knowledge of marketing development funds
• Extremely proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, & Hubspot
• Enthusiastic, meticulous & self-motivated
• Good computer skills for generating reports viewing marketing metrics, extracting data, and sharing information.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs, and features
• Time management skills for juggling numerous time sensitive projects simultaneously
• Excellent people skills for representing the company in public and during partner events.

Education

• College degree in Marketing or Business is highly preferred.

• 40-hour week and availability during standard office hours
• Location- onsite in our Cary Office
• Limited travel expected less than 20% to local vendor events/conferences.
• Computer-based position, sitting for extended periods of time (leading/attending virtual meetings)
• Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
