Job description

For more than 70 years, Walser Automotive Group has put people first: our customers, our employees, and our communities. As a family-owned, family-run company, we’ve grown to 29 dealerships representing 26 brands across Minnesota, Kansas, and Illinois.

We lead with innovation, technology, and a promise to deliver an exceptional experience every time.

  • And your work here matters: a portion of every vehicle sold and serviced supports the Walser Foundation, investing in schools, nonprofits, and workforce programs in our communities.

At Walser, success starts with people. Join us to build a career where you can grow, belong, and make a real impact.

Compensation: $65,000-$85,000/year depending on experience

What You’ll Do:

  • Own day-to-day marketing execution ensuring initiatives are launched correctly, on time, and aligned to brand standards and store priorities.
  • Execute and manage cross-channel marketing work (website updates, promotions, CRM initiatives, SEM/digital coordination, creative requests), acting as the single point-of-contact for store marketing needs.
  • Own monthly promotional updates and ensure accuracy and timely deployment across all relevant platforms and teams.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to store leadership, actively participating in dealership meetings and building deep working relationships across Sales/Service/Operations.
  • Extract and analyze key performance datasets (website traffic, lead performance, engagement) and translate findings into clear actions that improve performance.
  • Lead ongoing operational audits (lead routing, phone tracking, listings/data integrity) and drive fixes in partnership with store teams and vendors.
  • Proactively identify friction points and improvement opportunities in both marketing execution and customer experience; present recommendations to store leadership.
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across touchpoints (website, directory profiles, digital assets, in-store materials, and customer-facing communications).
  • Provide quality assurance across deliverables to maintain accuracy, brand consistency, and a high standard of execution.
  • Lead/support content creation and shoots (video/photo/reels), ensuring deliverables match brand tone and campaign goals.
  • Drive organic social execution and collaborate on creative assets that support store priorities and local/community relevance.
  • Own content planning cadence and publishing.
  • Support and/or lead dealership events and sponsorships, including coordination, communication planning, and content capture.
  • Plan and execute brand activations that strengthen brand consideration locally (partnerships, launches, community events), including logistics and post-event follow-up.
  • Provide monthly reporting on performance, what worked/what didn’t, and recommended adjustments.
  • Maintain proactive planning calendars for promotions, content, key brand moments, and campaign launches.
  • Uphold Walser’s Core Values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, Be Open Minded

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent hands-on marketing experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, dealership marketing, or performance-focused roles
  • Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (website, CRM/email, social, digital advertising, directory profiles).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and CRM platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business leaders and present to large teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, service, or operations teams preferred.

What’s In It For You?
