About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and energetic VP/GM of Enterprise Strategic Accounts to join our Growth team. In this important role, you will have a direct impact on Icario’s success by strengthening our relationships with our largest, most complex clients. You will serve as a GM for account strategy, growth – net new revenue, revenue retention, and upsell and cross sell, while managing a small team of dedicated/designated resources who support your client(s). You will also be responsible for providing client insights to Icario leaders. In this position, you will report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer.

Why We Need You
  • Deliver the highest level of client satisfaction for complex and challenging Enterprise Clients, while ensuring annual contract renewal and growth objectives including up-sell and cross sell opportunities
  • Lead large complex deal negotiations utilizing a trusted advisor/consultative approach while establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the client organization
  • Foster and maintain relationships with senior level client contacts and decision makers while building Icario champions within each client
  • Develop and execute the account strategy, contribute to the creation of stakeholder maps for accounts, determine and orchestrate a coverage plan across the client team, and create action plans to deliver results
  • Uncover business initiatives and pain points to map back our solutions across multiple lines of business and a diverse set of buyers and influencers
  • Lead client site visits, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other strategic meetings
  • Facilitate and support cross-functional teams supporting growth, including client implementations and ongoing performance management
  • Learn our space in health technology and government programs to serve as a key influencer of strategy and execution in context of the rapidly evolving market
  • Apply knowledge learned from your time with clients to provide thought leadership for the organization on future product and capability development
  • Deepen your understanding of the way large healthcare payers operate and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level

  • 15+ years of experience selling to large Top 5 health care payers
  • Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
  • Ability to navigate across the client in a trusted advisor/consultative approach, including establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in the Government Programs space preferred
  • Successful track record of strategic client account planning, execution, and growth
  • Excited to partner and collaborate with a cross functional, talented group of peers to lead the organization
  • Passionate about Icario’s mission and values
  • Excited to make a difference in the lives of members we serve
  • Experience overseeing hand-offs from Sales to Implementation and Client Experience, ensuring agreed upon design is brought to fruition
  • Track record leveraging a consultative sales approach
  • Led a team of sales executives, or influenced a matrixed client team
