What will you be doing?

As a Brand and Creative Specialist at Action Target, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading successful customer, partner, and corporate marketing initiatives and campaigns. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and management of content and advertising campaigns aimed at primarily at generating Ecommerce demand and fostering conversions across diverse marketing channels, including but not limited to email marketing, paid search, social media, and affiliate marketing.

This position will also be responsible for coordinating and helping execute our digital marketing and organic search efforts, including on- and off-page optimization, SEO/website performance, link building, and strategic content development to build a funnel of demand wherever the customer is in the conversion funnel.


Some of your day-to-day tasks?

  • Content Development:
    • Effectively manage projects based on an editorial/content calendar, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strategize and create content to attract new and loyal customers, ensuring content is repurposed across various platforms for a diverse online presence.
    • Create and support video/audio content creation.
    • Update and craft descriptive product content and information for promotions and product listings.
  • Ecommerce Promotions:
    • Work with the Ecommerce store manager to develop promotional strategies by researching the market, identifying target audiences, and creating creative campaigns.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers to produce advertising materials for promotions.
    • Oversee reporting for promotional campaigns, forecasting ROI, and analyzing results for continuous improvement.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage and build social media accounts, tracking engagement and growth of posts, campaigns, and platforms.
    • Moderate and review comments and messages, supporting the customer service team.
  • Affiliate Marketing:
    • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns.
    • Identify and build relationships with influencers and thought leaders through research and networking.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Manage or coordinate Adwords, PPC, and Display ads, and email marketing strategies.
    • Analyze campaign metrics, including open rates and click-throughs, to refine strategies based on data insights.

What do you need to be able to do?

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to coordinate or create effective marketing content.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in web optimization and analytics tools, including SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Experience driving traffic, conversion, and sales on a global e-commerce platform.
  • Data-driven mindset with a clear understanding of retail and marketing metrics.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a high-performing team.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision; self-starter; motivated to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A genuine interest and passion for the firearms industry.
