Job description

THE ROLE

We're looking for an Associate Creative Director to lead creative across our NPD (New Product Development) and optimization pipeline. As the Associate Creative Director, you'll own the creative strategy and execution for product launches and digital creative optimizations across Shark and Ninja's Direct to Consumer (DTC) channels, driving both brand storytelling and measurable conversion impact. You'll manage a team of senior designers and work closely with cross-functional partners in GTM, Marketing, and Product to bring world-class work to life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead digital creative for NPD launches and ongoing DTC optimizations across sharkninja.com and key DTC channels
  • Oversee a team of Sr. Designers focused on wrappers, landing pages, and conversion-optimized creative
  • Translate product briefs and GTM strategy into compelling creative platforms that drive acquisition and sales
  • Partner with the Creative Director and VP to develop creative frameworks and design systems that scale across products and categories
  • Champion a bold test-and-learn culture, develop creative hypotheses, review A/B results, and iterate based on performance data
  • Maintain a high creative bar while managing multiple concurrent workstreams across Shark and Ninja product lines
  • Collaborate with UX, Digital Store, and GTM teams to ensure creative integrates seamlessly across the full digital experience
  • Present creative concepts and rationale clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop junior creative talent within the team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of experience in digital creative, with at least 2 years in a senior lead or ACD capacity
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent digital design craft across product launches, e-commerce, and campaign creative
  • Superb graphic design, layout and typography
  • Experience managing and developing a team of designers
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce creative, PDP design, landing pages, email, paid media
  • Comfort working in a high-velocity environment with multiple simultaneous project streams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to sell creative ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Experience with performance-oriented creative and A/B testing frameworks is a plus
  • Competency producing AI Generative Creative using node based systems: Flora, Weavy
  • Proficiency using Open AI or Claude
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with consumer electronics, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred
