OVERVIEW

As a Creative Resource Manager, you are responsible for understanding the inner workings of the entire creative department - who makes up the team, the roles they play, each person's strengths and opportunities, how they work, and who is best suited for a particular assignment.

You will play a critical role in organizing and managing resourcing across a dynamic creative department of 55+ people. You are resourceful, highly organized, and a natural connector. You are passionate about creative work and understand the process behind producing great content, campaigns, and social work.

Working closely with creative leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure projects are properly staffed, timelines are clearly communicated, and the team has what they need to deliver high-quality work efficiently and effectively.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional agency teams and creatives to outline schedules and deliverables for projects.
  • Keep track of each phase of projects, ensuring the creative team has the right resources in place to complete their work successfully.
  • Manage creative resourcing across the department, balancing workload, capacity, timelines, and shifting priorities across individuals and teams.
  • Maintain accurate resourcing data in monday.com across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Review and process all incoming creative requests with support and sign-off of the Sr. Resource Manager
  • Ensure incoming requests are submitted with all necessary information, assets, and alignment to agency process.
  • Ability to proactively identify when to engage freelance support to meet project demands without compromising timelines or team sustainability.
  • Build strong relationships with peers and partners across the agency.
  • Help create the conditions for creatives to do their best work by improving visibility, communication, and workflow across the department.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in the advertising industry in project management, resourcing, traffic, or a related function.
  • Experience with project management or resourcing software (monday.com)
  • Strong ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Confident communicator comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Strong foundational technology skills, including familiarity with Microsoft 365, social, and digital media platforms.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Passionate about creative work and the process behind bringing ideas to life.
  • Organized and systems-oriented, with experience establishing timelines and identifying information and asset requirements needed to keep projects moving.
