We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager Assistant for a leading insurance brokerage. This is an opportunity to join an amazing insurance firm with a great culture that loves training and helping team members grow professionally and financially within the organization. As a Commercial Lines Assistant, you'll work with the client service team, assisting Account Managers and Account Executives in maintaining insurance policies for middle-market commercial clients.
Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid) Remote / Work from home 2/3 days
Compensation & Perks:
- Base Salary $60,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers in completing applications, obtaining quotes, and preparing proposals and presentations.
- Assist in invoicing policies, policy endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
- Assist in the review of coverage, identifying deficiencies, and determining the appropriate level of coverage.
- Process accounting inquiries and correct discrepancies.
- Provide claims assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Commercial insurance experience
- A property and Casualty license is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and experience with Applied EPIC agency management system is a plus.
