Marketing Community Growth Leader

Position Summary: As a local marketing and community liaison, the Community Group Leader (CGL) position is a high-energy, rewarding role focused on connecting the community through our Fourteen Foods’ mission and local Dairy Queen restaurants. This is a great position for a community member who is looking to naturally build upon connections while being supported by a robust corporate marketing team. Community connections and genuine relationships are the foundation of Fourteen Foods and DQ® and the CGL will take ownership of local relationships. The CGL will help identify and pursue unique partnership opportunities that positively align with the store marketing plan.

Essential Functions:
- Hold local meetings and serve as an in-store marketing and community liaison during event, and further promote the brand. 
- Build strong relationships at the store level and is responsible for monitoring in-store brand presence (i.e. identifying needs, updating materials once received, management 
community boards). 
- Larger events, such as grand openings, charitable events, and other local initiatives, will required on-site CGL support along with other Fourteen Foods marketing and operational 
leaders. 
- Leverage community relationships to create awareness around hiring initiatives at the local stores. 
- Identify local hiring events to attend and/or partnering with the Talent Acquisition Manager to execute job/career fairs, community events, local chamber events, and employment 
table events at high schools and other community events. 
- Audit employment brand within stores to ensure they are posted in good quality and are current. 
- Serve as a liaison between the store and the Talent Acquisition Manger with hiring needs. 
- 80% travel within designated area from the home office. 

Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in target areas note above, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.

- Past or Present experience as;
- Fundraising lead, community influencer, PTA leader, youth group/community leader
- Teacher, athletics coach
- City, Chamber employee
- Sales
- Event planner
- Store manager/GM
- Recruiter
- Organized and trustworthy.
- Out-going, well-spoken, and professional. 
- Perceptive, persistent, and community driven. 
- Self-motivated, proactive, and responsive. 
- Service minded, connected, relationship focused. 
- Tactical with the ability to build from strategic insight.
