Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Human Resource Generalist to oversee all aspects of human resources operations at our manufacturing company. You will be responsible for talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and HR policies. This is a full-time , on-site position.
Responsibilities:
· Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified manufacturing and administrative staff
· Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs including health insurance, 401k, etc.
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
· Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
· Create and deliver training and development programs for employees at all levels
· Oversee performance review process and support managers on employee coaching and feedback
· Partner with management on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change
· Analyze HR metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
· Stay up-to-date on manufacturing industry HR best practices and trends
· Provide administrative support to other departments as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of HR experience, to include payroll processing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of HR information systems and payroll platforms, Paycor is a plus
