Job Description
Applied Innovation is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual to assist in the day-to-day operations of serving clients in our Network Connectivity department as a Network Connectivity Help Desk Technician Tier 1. The Network Connectivity Helpdesk Technician Tier 1 will report directly to the Network Connectivity Manager. This position is Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm located at 3223 Kraft Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Addressing incoming Network Connectivity support calls, tickets, email inquiries, and resolving connectivity related challenges
  • Assist with installing our supported devices by phone and remote management software
  • Schedule, install, and provide training on our supported multifunction printers, and desktop scanners.
  • Input detailed client notes for support tickets and network installs.
  • Adhere to strict SLA and meet/exceed department metrics.
  • Provide our customers with Fast, Friendly, and Amazing Service.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
 
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Must be dependable, professional, organized, and detailed oriented.
  • Must be a strong communicator and work well in a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience in PC, MAC, and server operating system environments.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Office 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and manage new systems related to information technology.
  • High degree of flexibility and have strong problem solving skills.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:
  • Two-year degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field or equivalent work experience
