The Role - Desktop Support/IT Administrator- Hybrid

The Desktop Support/IT Administrator role is a full-time position responsible for all facets of managing end-user applications and devices, as well as other IT infrastructure management duties for EOS Worldwide.

Activities for this role include the implementation, documentation, optimization, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and business applications and device management. Qualified candidates must manage the lifecycle of end-user accounts and devices, perform troubleshooting to resolve break/fix issues, and contribute to IT infrastructure projects and enhancements.

In addition to managing daily operations and planning of the End User environments at EOS Worldwide, the ideal candidate has experience administering and maintaining infrastructure and cloud-based environments, namely Google Workspace and Microsoft Azure/365 environments.

The candidate must be knowledgeable in cybersecurity and cloud computing industry standards and a self-starter who will drive operational excellence and security compliance.

A successful candidate will be a growth-oriented individual with excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to see the big picture. This will work with other teams to promote best practices, support problem resolution, and align departmental processes with corporate business goals.

This position will report directly to EOS Worldwide's Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure Director.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide end-user/desktop service and support for EOSW resources, including acquiring and deploying new devices and IT equipment.
  • Monitors and secures end-user environments, assesses whether maintenance and compliance strategies are effective, and researches and recommends enhancements as discovered.
  • Implementing, managing, and/or administering IT and business SaaS applications, including but not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Educates IT teams on implementing and operating new IT and cybersecurity technologies and initiatives.
  • Assesses, updates, and develops, as needed, IT and information security processes and procedures.
  • Researching and recommending new products and solutions.
  • Supporting analysis and efforts toward security certifications (e.g., SOC II) and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CPRA).
  • Work alongside other departments on various projects.
  • Performs other technology/IT duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must share EOS Worldwide's Vision and Core Values
  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience
  • Previous desktop support experience with Windows PCs or Macs
  • Knowledge of IT and Desktop engineering concepts like baseline configurations, authentication, etc.
  • Previous experience with cloud-based or SaaS software
  • 2-4 years' experience in an IT Administrative role (preferred)
  • Understanding of core cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
  • Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and other security tools (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail and goal-oriented
  • Experience in a remote working environment

Location: Birmingham, MI- Hybrid

Job Type: Exempt, Full-Time

Compensation: $55,000/year base salary, commensurate with experience, plus the potential for a performance-based bonus in addition to health benefits, life insurance, 401k match, tech stipend, flex-time, PTO, and more.
