The assistant manager position is to be filled by someone who is able to take on the leadership role of the store as a whole and able to assist the manager with any tasks at hand. An assistant is expected to have open availability and be flexible to make scheduling adjustments when needed. There is a high expectation in this position of being in charge and making sure things are taken care of in a positive and professional manner. Tasks include but not limited to, making treats, cashing out, cleaning, stocking, tills, opening, making cakes, decorating cakes, new employee training, machine cleaning, inventory, and assisting with managerial duties.
