Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is currently seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Manager with excellent communication and team-building skills; and a proven track record of success at hitting/exceeding profitability goals with high customer satisfaction levels. Our Service Managers are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service department at maximum production, by building a loyal client base, driving new business, controlling costs, developing and maintaining an excellent team, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining best-in-class customer satisfaction scores.

Key responsibilities for an Automotive Service Manager include but are not limited to:
- Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
- Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
- Setting up and maintaining a service desk and evaluating its efficiency.
- Resolving service desk problems and improving service methods to increase the service desk's productivity and customer service.
- Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
- Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
- Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
- Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
Key qualifications for an Automotive Service Manager include but are not limited to:
- Strong automotive industry knowledge including best practices and modern approaches to service management.
- Progressive and dynamic in leading and continually developing a strong, growth-minded automotive service team.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to implement innovative resolutions to keep our customers satisfied.
- Elite communication and collaboration capabilities to develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Forward-thinking, sales-minded attitude with an ability to uncover value-add business opportunities.
- Knowledge and experience working in CDK is advantageous.
- Level-headed and focused approach to effectively and efficiently manage stressful situations.
