We are looking for a PR Account Coordinator to join our PR team to work on an array of clients.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Account Management/Client Services: Setting, maintaining, and executing client communications/development, planning, coordination, and execution of client programs
  • PR / Media Relations:Media pitch, drive strategic planning, ideation, and recommendations to meet desired outcomes, driving the PR messages with new

materials, channels, stakeholders, results reporting

  • Events & Promotions:Strategic planning, ideation, and recommendation of concepts to meet desired outcomes
  • Support business development: Ideation, strategy, presentation
  • Help identify and coordinate integrated marketing pitches
  • Market knowledge & Relations: Keep on top of industry and market trends. Deepen and grow relationships with strategic influential media, partners, and stakeholders
  • Advertising Planning & Buying: Media plan development (Budgeting, Billing, trafficking to the client, to the publisher)
  • Media outreach: Initiate pro-active, strategic media outreach to generate client results
  • Media pitching: Draft/edit media pitches, press releases, editorial copy, and social media posts


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS college degree in communications or journalism, or public relations, and 1+ years PR/related experience - agency experience preferred.
  • Strong detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, both technical and creative
  • Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an attention to detail
  • Demonstrable media pitching skills
  • Solid understanding of social media and how to utilize it
  • Ability to anticipate needs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
  • Results-oriented critical thinking, effective judgment, and ability to anticipate, spot, and fix problems
  • Self-motivated
  • Resourceful
  • Computer proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google programs, and office equipment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Bilingual fluency (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin) a plus
