Responsibilities
- POS:
- The POS System Administrator is responsible for managing, administering, and supporting Resorts World Point of Sale (POS) systems and other systems
- All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Nacho Daddy policies, practices, and procedures
- Everyone works in Safety – If you have a safety concern, it is your responsibility to address it by correcting it or notifying the appropriate department or individual
- Everyone works in Security – If you See Something, it is your responsibility to Say Something
- You must notify the appropriate department or individual if you feel there is a security concern
- Set up and implement new Aloha POS system including being responsible for rollout to our stores next year.
- Everyone works in EVS – If there is trash on the floor, it is your responsibility to pick it up
- Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile
- If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual
- Lead and oversee all day to day POS configurations and integrated applications, including new locations and users, menu and menu rollout implementation, promotions
- Responsible for the ultimate integrity of the POS system and maximizing the overall usefulness of the system for a variety of users
- Identify and resolve POS issues with venders and internal teams
- Lead department-wide POS data reporting, including sales, sales mix reporting and promotion results
- Work with IT to facilitate equipment sourcing, costing, inventory and installation support of Franchise POS
- Create, maintain and revise technical documentation update and communicate to Operations team and other stakeholders when required
- Support ongoing operational processes related to IS such as restaurant openings, training & menu roll outs
- Documentation of policies, procedures and processes to ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Creating and maintaining strong system controls and user permissions
- Partners with finance in reviewing cash variations and irregular transaction
- Assist Finance in setting up departmental and property reports, analyses and dashboards
- Collaborate with Finance team in identifying and executing analysis opportunities
- Evaluate current business processes and identify ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure that resources are effectively being utilized
- Adapt quickly and effectively to procedural changes and assist with other special projects
- Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
- Other duties as assigned
- Systems and Network:
- Maintain internal system and application efficiency and uptime.
- Perform application maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- Configures and installs various network devices and services including wireless networks
- Analyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with systems, and implementing improvements
- IT Support
- Set up, maintain, and manage CC cameras and integrate them into a managed platform so we can see from anywhere from an app.
- Assist with internal IT, hardware and device management and asset tracking
- Creating and updating dish recipes within a stock system to specification
- Updating delivery partner systems to specification for menu launches
- Perform both ad-hoc and scheduled administrative changes to operational systems, including workforce management and table management
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly user administration duties
- Key person for POS, PMS and other hospitality system implementations.
- Administer new users and user rights to network and software. Performs audits and updates as applicable.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Recommend new processes, or changes in processes, to achieve business goals, following best practices and standards.
- Work well with vendors and make system feature upgrade requests as necessary.
- Assist department by creating, maintaining comprehensive checklists for implementations, job tasks, FAQs and troubleshooting information.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High energy, enthusiastic, core values, and company philosophy.
- Administration of M365 licensing, GPO creation, & Microsoft product family.
- Advanced knowledge of IP (Internet Protocol) networking, CLI scripting, LAN/WAN routing, switching, VLAN segmentation, VPN tunneling, and advanced Firewalls.
- Knowledge and experience working with Linux distros and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of CC camera setup and management.
- Good planning and priority setting skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem solving, math, and analytical skills.
- 5 + years experience in related field.
- Senior level leadership experience.
