Job Description

BDP Management is a franchisee of over 120 Planet Fitness locations across the United States and operates our support center out of Neenah, WI


We are looking to a representative to our Human Resources team.


This role would work in conjunction with the other Senior HR Generalist in assisting the Chief People Officer with overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources functions. This position will report directly to the Chief People Officer.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in bi-weekly payroll
  • Work in conjunction with the company’s PEO to investigate and respond for all unemployment inquiries from the various states
  • Submit all employee deductions to the company’s PEO and keep proper records
  • Assist with employee and manager inquiries in regards to the company’s PEO system and timekeeping system
  • Conduct recruitment effort for all positions by placing advertisements to online job boards and work with supervisors on postings
  • Assist with developing a training program for the management staff and new-employee orientations
  • Communicate with the company’s PEO and staff on in regards to all Workers Compensation and Leave of Absence requests
  • Cross train on personnel issues and termination guidance for management staff.
  • Develop weekly reporting to ensure accuracy and proper documentation of each onboarded staff member
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the human resources department to develop proper back up
  • Provide exit interviews to manager staff
  • Perform other human resources and payroll duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates in a casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline and three to five years of human resource experience.
