We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Information Technology Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential in-person IT support, acting as a direct point of contact for our clients while demonstrating our commitment to thoughtful, rapid, and people-first IT solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite technical support at various client locations, ensuring client satisfaction remains a top priority.
  • Travel between client sites as necessary—travel expenses are fully reimbursed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and systems.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software across multiple environments.
  • Instruct and guide clients on IT best practices and the use of our Modern IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement innovative IT strategies.
  • Keep abreast of current IT trends and technologies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Represent and uphold the core values and standards of Modern IT in every client interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field, with a strong background in customer-facing roles.
  • Advanced technical skills in managing computer systems, hardware, and networks, including proficiency in troubleshooting, software setup, and network configuration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities, capable of effectively identifying and resolving technical issues while maintaining professionalism with clients.
  • Independent worker with solid time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A proven passion for delivering superior customer service, as evidenced by previous experience in hands-on IT support and client education.
  • A commitment to continual professional development, with a keen interest in staying updated on emerging IT technologies and trends.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk or support desk operations is highly desirable.
