JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Manager oversees the daily operations of PATH’s BH Police Assisted Diversion program which operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m., inclusive of holidays. Hours for the program may be adjusted based on need or other circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university.
  • At minimum, 2 years verified, paid, post-master’s experience with adults with substance use disorder, mental health and/or criminal justice involvement. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills.
  • Must be able to use an Electronic Health Record.
  • Active Driver's License required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Police Assisted Diversion program ensuring the PAD program is a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure services are client driven and trauma sensitive.
  • Ensure collaboration with CBH and other insurance providers to verify insurance, obtain information and authorizations and linkages as indicated.
  • Ensure staff perform a complete assessment of the presenting issues and concerns, hearing the voice and collaborating with each individual and other services providers involved (i.e. PAD police officers, PCP, other professionals).
  • Ensure individuals are sent for further medical clearance if warranted based on information received and observation of the individual.
  • Provide on-going consultation to the team for PAD encounters.
  • Ensure collaboration with the Philadelphia Police Department’s PAD officers.
  • Ensure all recommended referrals/linkages including referrals requiring electronic submission to CBH, pre-certifications through CBH or other third-party insurances and all other community agencies & supports are made on a timely basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
