Regal Professional Services has been engaged by a GMP client in Midlothian, TX to hire a Production Planning Manager for an on-site role.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Summary

Oversees the maintenance of the manufacturing databases, preparation of weekly production schedules, capacity requirements, and requisitioning of all materials required to support production at LAP and worldwide facilities. Position also requires the oversight of various subsystems and procedures as required to perform the activities outlined above. Oversees the creation and distribution of in-house labels.

Responsibilities

Oversees the creation and distribution of weekly production schedules for 24 departments.
Oversees requisitioning of materials to meet inventory and production objectives.
Reviews and modifies monthly herbs forecast.
Oversees day-to-day manufacturing database maintenance including OPC codes, EOQs, routings, MPS demand, forecast and consumption time fences, BOMs, and ECOs.
Oversees the maintenance of the NPO and "Art Received" databases, and the execution
Coordinates the activities of the PID team in alignment with corporate & plant goals.
Develops of oversees the maintenance & publication of departmental KPIs and holds the team accountable to targets.
Bi-weekly evening calls with sister plant in China.
Assists in preparing department budgets.
On site attendance every workday, with daily visits to the manufacturing floor.
Directly manages seven employees in the Production Information Department
