Job Description
Senior Growth EngineerOur mission:

Optiwatt’s mission is to reverse global warming through the advancement of smart device adoption. We started by making electric vehicle ownership cheaper, simpler, and more impactful, by building North America's largest network of connected and intelligent cars to balance the electric grid. Next, we expanded into smart thermostats, to revolutionize HVAC intelligence and help put dollars to degrees. But we are still just getting started, as there are a myriad of devices within today's increasingly connected home, and utilities are feeling the stress of rapid electrification across industries. Our investors are some of the most active impact investing firms out there, and we hold ourselves accountable to each other and the future generations of this planet. Do you want to straddle the intersection of technology and purpose on our growth trajectory to 1,000,000 connected homes and beyond? We hope so.

Your impact:

We are a software-focused company looking for a software engineer with experience in growth and marketing tech to join our small team of experienced developers. • Maintenance and Improvement of Analytics Stack:
    • Manage and maintain our analytics stack, including but not limited to Mixpanel, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Adjust SDK.
    • Continuously evaluate the performance and reliability of analytics tools and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of key metrics.
  • Data Analysis and Insights Generation:
    • Analyze user behavior data, A/B test results, and other relevant metrics to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform product decisions, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives aimed at driving user acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
  • Experimentation and Iterative Development:
    • Design, execute, and analyze growth experiments across various channels and touchpoints to test hypotheses and validate assumptions.
    • Iterate rapidly based on experiments and product feedback. This includes moving quickly and releasing often as results come in.
  • Marketing Platform Integration
    • Feed data back in its most identifiable form to navigate within privacy constraints and help advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Nextdoor, and many more drive maximum conversion volume at minimal cost for Optiwatt
    • Integrate new platforms as they become available, increase depth of integration for platforms that are proven to work, and resolve issues with integrations and requirements change
