This is an in-office role based out of our Maryville, TN office.

The Day-to-Day

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Independently research and collaborate with internal teams to gain comprehensive knowledge of software and hardware features being implemented in iXsystems products.
• Update software product documentation during the functional life cycle of that software version.
• Create detailed content for deploying and using iXsystems hardware products.
• Verbal and written communications mastery
• Strong ability to independently research or communicate with diverse groups of internal and external customers to identify product usage best practices and procedures
• Good task prioritization and deadline management skills
• Knowledge of and working experience with open source technologies and solutions

Education and Experience

• 1-3 years of Technical Communications experience
• Experienced with Agile development methodologies and online task management solutions like Jira
• Network Attached Storage (NAS) industry experience, including network administration, file sharing and data backup protocols, and complex permissions management
• A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above
• Technically proficient in content creation programs, including word processing software, Google Suite programs, Adobe Creative Cloud, and graphic design software
• Familiarity with open source software and version control platforms like GitHub
• Proficient at applying unified styling and concise technical language for complex topics and procedures
• Knowledge of and working experience with Document Control techniques

Compensation and Benefits 

The base pay range for this position is $45,000 to  $60,000 USD Annually. Additional compensation is available for this position through the Incentive Bonus Program and a stock option equity package.

The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment. 

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.
