Job description

A leading construction management firm is seeking multiple document control management professionals of varying levels of experience (clerks / technicians / specialists / analysts / managers) to join their team supporting Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority rail projects across the San Fernando Valley. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in document control & configuration management for civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, track, utilities, light rail maintenance and storage facilities, and light rail systems.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in document control & configuration management for civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, track, utilities, light rail maintenance and storage facilities, and light rail systems.


Responsibilities

* Analyze, quality check, file, and retrieve electronic construction-related documents

* Process documents on incoming and outgoing transmittals

* Review and/or quality check technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other documents

* Identify and use the correct tools, systems, and techniques to index, file, and control documentation

* Work with multiple contractors, project team members, and project management with the control, distribution, maintenance, and retrieval of project-related documents

* Work proactively to resolve issues and mitigate risks

* Support other team members and the client on document control procedures

Qualifications

* Experienced with updating and maintaining data in Primavera Unifier

* A minimum of 5 years' experience performing configuration management work.
