The Assistant Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the facility, creating a friendly and welcoming environment for our customers, identifying and meeting their storage needs, and providing them with a personal storage experience. Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation


• A highschool diploma or GED minimum  requirement


• Pass an alcohol/drug screening and background check


• Customer service experience


• Strong administrative and organizational skills 


• Able to learn new software quickly and proficiently 


• Work and solve problems independently without direct supervision


• Lift 50lbs, operate large storage doors,

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify storage needs, provide excellent customer service, give tours of the facility, explain services and products offered, and make unit recommendations


• Answer all calls and emails in a timely and professional manner


• Lease and vacate units and perform all day-to-day operations of the facility 


• Perform daily property inspections and general maintenance of facility and office including contacting vendors for larger work orders and maintenance issues


• Maintain a clean office, facility, and grounds to ensure the space is professional and inviting


• Clean out vacated units and prepare them for the next customer


• Collect and process all payments and contact any delinquent accounts


• Assess inventory and restock supplies regularly


• Communicate with manager regularly


• Stay up to date on the local market trends and competition


• Drive and park moving truck

Benefits

• Hourly Position: $20-$28/hour depending on qualifications


• Part time position: 1-2 days/week 9:30-5:30 with some variability as well as a full 2-3 weeks to cover Manager’s vacation time


• Monthly incentive bonuses
