Daniel D Bigandt American Family Insurance Agency in Denver, Colorado is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy working in a proactive environment, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales support of Personal line accounts to help families protect their assets.

• Make proactive outbound calls and receive inbound calls in an effort to quote and bind auto, home, and life insurance.
• Quote personal insurance packages.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Cross-sell while assisting current customers.
• Take premium payments from customers.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
• Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.

• No insurance experience required, but must possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal and writing/editing skills.
• A Property & Casualty license is not required, but preferred. (Permanant position is not given until P&C license is obtained)
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Problem-Solving Capabilities.
• Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
