Position Purpose
The
Supply Chain Operations Contract Administrator
will be responsible for the administration and coordination of supply chain agreements. The contract administrator will work directly with sourcing teams and vendors to gather necessary information to submit new contract and trial use requests. The position will be responsible for coordinating contract drafts, revisions and final copies between Encompass Health and the suppliers. The contract administrator will manage aligning hospitals to national agreements through letters of participation. The role will support the review of local agreements to ensure appropriate terms and pricing. The role will manage the documentation and storage of contracts through electronic systems. The SCO contract administrator will be responsible for creating and maintaining an electronic repository of key contract terms.
Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Gathers necessary information to submit new contract and trial use requests.
  • Coordinates contract drafts, revisions and final copies between Encompass Health and the suppliers.
  • Manages the documentation and storage of contracts through electronic systems.
  • Creates and maintains an electronic repository for key contract terms.
  • Manages the alignment of hospitals to national agreements through letters of participation.
  • Supports the review of local agreements to ensure appropriate terms and pricing.
  • This position must sit at our Home Office, located in Birmingham, AL
Qualifications
License or Certification:
  • None
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-3 years of healthcare/supply chain/contract experience
