Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquite is looking to add qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced Service Advisors with a great work ethic to join our rapidly expanding Service Center. These individuals will greet customers, listen to descriptive issues and service needs, and provide estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance.

Job Duties:

• Prepares and advises service estimates, sell routine maintenance, repair services and follow-up regarding unsold services and customer inquiries.
• Effectively speaks and advises customers regarding service recommendations for routine maintenance. The Service Advisor helps identify mechanical problems by questioning the customer and/or doing a visual inspection or road test.
• Prepares a repair order showing time and labor estimates for suggested service. The Service Advisor communicates regularly with the technicians to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner.
• Schedules appointments, answers phone calls, and collects funds for services performed. The Service Advisor assists with the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, shuttle etc.
• Demonstrates extreme attention to detail while advising and consulting with customers. Establishes "promised time." The Service Advisor checks with dispatcher, if necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive service advisory experience is a MUST; Hyundai expertise is a PLUS.
• Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time without resting. (Up to 5 hours)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively to employees, managers, and customers.
