Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proofreader extraordinaire to join our team. If you can spot a misplaced comma from a mile away, turn typos into triumphs, and have an insatiable love for language, then we want you on our team. This role has been designated primarily remote, requiring no onsite attendance.

Job Duties

Review the copy to ensure proper grammar, spelling, syntax, and style. Requires an eye for detail, ability to use standard proofreaders' marks, and excellent knowledge of grammar and style
Verifies basic facts and makes corrections as appropriate
Ensures consistency within a project and across multiple projects
Verifies that approved changes have been made. Makes corrections as appropriate
Maintains and distributes terminology guides as needed
Performs broad-scale consistency audits as needed
