Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join a new team inside an established organization undergoing an enterprise data transformation and modernization path! As a Data Analyst, you will work with complex data sets and provide insights and recommendations for business performance improvements. You should be able to think in terms of systems, have a deep understanding of business processes, and be able to manage and manipulate large amounts of data using various tools and techniques. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, data systems, and data analytics tools, as well as communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

This is a mostly remote role and must be willing to travel a few days every few months! Priority will be given to candidates within driving distance of Georgia or Tennessee. Competitive base salary and comp package, which includes a yearly bonus.

Key responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations for business performance improvements

Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to identify and predict patterns and trends in data

Design and develop data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders

Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve business processes using data-driven insights

Demonstrate measurable improvement in business outcomes

Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Azure Data Factory

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or similar

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data

Ability to think creatively and identify new patterns and opportunities for business improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field
