About You

Do you have sales experience and are looking for a chance to join a close-knit, compassionate team of dedicated legal professionals? Our law firm is expanding and needs the help of a legal intake specialist to take our client relations to the next level and manage our growing caseload. The Legal Intake Specialist often provides the first impression of the Firm to potential clients and plays a vital role in providing our clients with excellent service by completing phone interviews and gathering information pertinent to their potential cases as well as meeting with clients as necessary.

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills, professional appearance, effectively communicate with others, team player and understanding a multi-line phone system in a busy office environment
• Receive incoming calls.
• Screen calls for acceptance or rejection of new cases.
• Sign up qualified cases.
• As requested answer email correspondence of potential new clients, handle the sign up new cases, and handle Receptionist duties.
• Assist in opening new cases in Filevine (CRM)
• Full familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel proficiency
• Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
• Sales or customer service experience highly valued
• High school diploma or GED is a requirement; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

• Our Intake Specialist must possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and be able to listen with an understanding ear.
• Our Intake Specialist must be comfortable using technology, accustomed to high standards, able to follow procedures, and able to adhere to well-defined policies.
• Our Intake Specialist must also be a responsible and dependable self-starter who is able to critically think and problem solve. Prior customer service experience is required, appreciated, and valued, but personality, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations.
• Our Intake Specialist must be able to empathize with potential new clients and must be able to stay calm and gather information, even when the potential new client is upset.
• You must be a quick learner and able to use technology. Experience working at a law firm and using a CRM are a plus, however, experience with data tracking and reporting is required. We only want people who are not afraid of computers or learning new things that will make their job easier.
• You must be a team player. You will be working with other team members to deliver an outstanding experience for our clients. You must respect, appreciate, and understand how we work together internally has a direct impact on how we are perceived externally. If you prefer to work independently, this isn’t the job for you.
• We expect every team member to give us 100% when you are at work. If you are lazy, won’t show up to work on time, can’t stay off your phone, like to take an excessive number of breaks during the work-day, this isn’t the job for you.
