Our client has a proven history in the distribution field and is looking to bring on a strong HR Manager looking to join a stable and supportive company. In this role, you will be providing day-to-day HR support in areas such as workers compensation, benefit analysis, performance management, and employee relations. This position requires a team player who enjoys building relationships and wearing multiple hats.

Pay range: $90-110k based on experience
Responsibilities:
· Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
· Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
· Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
· Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
· Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
· Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
· Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
· Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
· Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
· Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.
· Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
· Other duties as assigned.
What you need:
· BS in human resources, business administration or relevant field
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
· At least 5+ years proven experiences in HR related works
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Detail-oriented and hand-on capabilities with strong business ethic are required
· In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
· Solid understanding of research methods and analysis
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
· Computer savvy and HR system implementation with working knowledge of human resource IT (ADP, Payroll etc.) a plus
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, e.g. excel, word and power point
