The Core Entertainment is looking for a full-time DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA, based out of Nashville, TN.

The Role: 

The Director of Social Media will play a key role in the development and execution of content for the company and artists. This role requires attention to detail, thinking creatively, strong analytical and organizational skills, and coming up with innovative strategies. A passion for music and everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of social and industry trends. You will be responsible for leading a small team that produces best-in-class social media campaigns for our music clients, ranging from overarching strategy to day-to-day execution across all digital touchpoints. You will connect digital success to all aspects of a client’s career and drive growth on social media platforms, along with helping drive brand communication and experience through digital interaction.

Working with the artists brand and objectives and the competitive space of social media is an essential component in delivering effective campaigns. You should be able to create content timelines and monitor progress against key metrics. You will be responsible for developing relationships with companies like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.

In addition to general duties, you will be called on to present marketing ideas to our artists, primarily in the electronic space. You should be able to collaborate with others and communicate effectively with internal and external graphic design and photo/video teams in addition to being able to clearly present your vision to our artists and label partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple social campaigns simultaneously, have a fun and collaborative we-can-do-anything attitude, a passion for creative copywriting, an eye for design, and a love for social media marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall strategy and execution of clients' social marketing including calendar creation, content creation, community management, community growth and creative marketing plans
• Be up to date on emerging trends and technology, and provide updates to internal teams and artists
• Work closely with our design team to create visually appealing content (still & video) for clients
• Provide in-depth reporting, insights, and analytics for artist teams across campaigns
• Communicate and work closely with artists to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns
• Lead all social media brainstorming meetings
• Develop and foster relationships with platform representatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing social marketing for music clients and a creative team
• Extensive knowledge of all major social channels, including platform-specific algorithms, advertising platforms and features
• Ability to manage a small team and 5-8 artist accounts across multiple platforms
• Experience with emerging platforms, products, and features
• Knowledge of digital advertising
• Ability to nurture and maintain working relationships with artists
• Analytical thinker with the ability to use data to inform decision making
• A creative brain with a passion for visual aesthetic
• Exceptional time management and project management skills
