Director of Marketing

Are you a creative thinker with a solid track record in SaaS? Patch My PC is on the hunt for a Marketing Director who’s ready to bring fresh ideas and a down-to-earth approach to our team. In this role, you’ll shape and drive our marketing plans for all our products and services, making sure they resonate with our audience and get great results.

From market research to product planning, you’ll make sure we’re speaking directly to our customers in a way that’s genuine and engaging. You’ll keep an eye on the competition and use the latest tech and data to keep us flexible and ready to adapt to changes in the market.

Leading a talented team of 6, you’ll guide both short-term projects and long-term growth with a supportive and collaborative approach. Your exceptional people leadership skills will be crucial in inspiring, developing, and motivating your team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in Go-To-Market strategies, who knows how to navigate the SaaS landscape effectively.

This position is a fully remote work from home (WFH), but candidates must live and be authorized to work within the United States.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

• Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 (USD Annually)
  • The salary range will be based on location and experience. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses tied to marketing metrics that further enhance the total compensation package.
• Additional Compensation / Benefits:
  • Annual bonuses - we offer a yearly bonus based on company goals being hit with a 12% target.
  • 401k matching - we match 200% of 401k contributions up to the first 5% of your salary for a total of up to 10%
  • Medical - we cover 99% of your health care premium for you and all dependants
    • For qualified plans, we contribute $2,000/yr into your Health Savings Account (HSA)
    • For qualified plans, we match up to $500/yr into your Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • We offer additional bonuses for each positive customer survey and sometimes do one-off company-wide bonuses.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and targets key markets and segments.
• Lead and manage the marketing team (6 people), setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support to achieve optimal performance.
• Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are effective, on-brand, and deliver a ROI.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and product development.
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build strategic relationships.
• Participate in executive management meetings, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making.
• Contributing to the company’s strategic planning and decision-making processes at the executive level.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Desired a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Flexibility with working hours, able to accommodate different time zones, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Knowledge of the IT, and software/SaaS industry

OTHER COMMITMENTS:

• Quarterly Offsites: This position is part of our executive leadership team. A two-day or three-day offsite for planning. These offsites will require travel and are in-person.
• Learning and Growth: We often incorporate books and additional training each quarter to ensure continuous learning and development in this team.
• Time Zone Flexibility: In this role, you'll lead team members across Europe and the United States, requiring adaptable scheduling to accommodate diverse time zones and ensure seamless collaboration.
