The Product Manager serves as a champion for the customer, leveraging exceptional product instincts, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric design thinking to deliver world-class solutions. This role is responsible for the discovery, definition, and delivery of features within a specific product vertical of Avetta's flagship SaaS platform, Connect. Reporting to a Senior Product Manager or Director of Product, this role focuses on defining and refining product features, gathering and analyzing customer insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring high-quality products to market.
The Product Manager plays a critical role in product discovery, problem prioritization, and feature execution, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs.
This role is well-suited for hands-on product professionals with strong analytical skills, compelling communication skills, customer empathy, and a passion for building scalable, intuitive, and high-impact SaaS solutions.
If the individual hired lives within approximately a 30 minute commute from one of our Avetta office locations, a 3-day per week in-office hybrid schedule will be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer-Centric Product Development
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring all product decisions enhance user experience and solve real customer pain points.
  • Work closely with UX designers to research, prototype, and validate solutions before implementation.
  • Lead customer communications related to product enhancements and roadmap, partnering with marketing to drive awareness and adoption of new capabilities.

Customer Insights & Product Discovery
  • Conduct customer interviews, usability tests, and data analysis to gather feedback and validate product assumptions.
  • Support the Product Leadership in identifying market gaps and emerging trends
  • Monitor customer usage data and support tickets to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams with product-related inquiries, feature requests, and feedback.

Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Leverage key performance metrics to track the success of product features and inform future enhancements.
  • Work with data analysts and business intelligence teams to gather insights that inform product refinements.
  • Drive data-informed product improvements, defining KPIs for product performance and iterating based on measurable outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with engineering teams to refine feature specifications and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Partner with UX designers to ensure a customer-centric approach to product development.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to craft messaging, product positioning, and user documentation.
  • Present feature updates and backlog progress to internal stakeholders and contribute to roadmap discussions led by senior leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams, providing insights on product capabilities, feature requests, and competitive positioning.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring product requirements are well understood and executed effectively.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 4+ years of enterprise/commercial product management experience, particularly in SaaS and B2B software.
  • Experience in subscription-based business models
  • Experience in B2C software in eCommerce or Online Directories is a plus.
  • Strong background in customer research, product discovery, and problem validation.
  • Proven ability in managing competing priorities, and driving execution.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment with backlog management tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering and UX discussions with designers, bridging business needs with practical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business metrics, analytics, and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or Compliance/Risk Management software.
  • Exposure to machine learning, AI-driven insights, or automation in product development.
  • Background in enterprise third-party integrations, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of user behavior analytics tools (e.g., FullStory, Pendo, Amplitude, Google Analytics).
  • Experience working in a global market, managing multi-region product requirements.

IDEAL EDUCATION & TRAINING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management (PDMA, CSPO, SAFe, Pragmatic Institute, etc.) are a plus.

The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The salary range for this position is $87,500 - $180,000 per year, with a potential bonus.
We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
