About this Opportunity:

This is a full-time exempt position where the incumbent is responsible for providing end user technical support. The Helpdesk Technician works as part of a team to respond to tickets opened by users for a wide range of support requests.

Location:

Womack Group is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

Requirements:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support corporate laptop and desktop hardware including replacement of hardware on a prescribed lifecycle.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 and other user applications including deployment of those applications.
  • Support Windows 10 and 11 environments.
  • Helpdesk ticketing and remote, Managed Engine, Patch Manager, MS Intune preferred.
  • Support printers, scanners, and handheld computers.
  • Support corporate cellular phones and corporate phone system.
  • Perform routine user support processes such as password resets and MFA management.
  • Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues affecting the use of user applications.
  • Operate effectively within a ticketing system.
  • Operate in a security-first environment.
  • Other duties may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.


EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associates degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, systems, and new tasks.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

TRAINING:


· Position will be expected to be certified in Microsoft Certified MD-101 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) and Microsoft Certified MS-900 (Managing Modern Desktops).

· Continuation for learning is expected for the position.

· Training will be provided for the position.
