POSITION OVERVIEW
The Recruiting and Training Specialist – HQ Gyms will support the Headquarter-owned gym locations in Utah in recruiting and onboarding for Burn Ambassadors, Childwatch and Trainers. This individual will help with operations and ongoing gym-level training initiatives.
This role requires travel between gym locations along the Wasatch front in Utah.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Recruiting Execution for HQ Gyms – Utah
- Onboarding Training Execution (Role Specific) for Gym Level Team Members
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for HQ gyms in Utah.
- Build and sustain a pipeline of future candidates to overcome turnover.
- Partner and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including online channels, networking, and community partnerships.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates' information and interview feedback.
- Deliver training programs to onboard new employees.
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations and feedback.
- Partner with leaders in the gyms to create customized training plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and training.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns and work closely with our Culture team in North Carolina.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in recruitment and training, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed.
- Ability to travel between gym locations along the Wasatch front in Utah.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS software.
