Production Administrative Assistant

The Production Administration Support will provide manufacturing leadership to deliver a world-class operation. A Team Member focused on outstanding manufacturing results, while leveraging Continuous Improvement (Lean/TPM) tools, improving individual skills, and enhancing teamwork.

Essential Duties:

• Set-up new ingredients/packaging materials to support plant and manage corporate initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the plant as well as externally to deliver service goals, meet logistics metrics and optimize costs
• Manage replenishment stream to plant by utilizing corporate resources and maintaining positive supplier relationships
• Drive efficiencies in work processes and the replenishment stream while meeting department and plant objectives
• Coordinate and manage plant and customer needs so that all are fulfilled to the highest capacity
• Ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements.
• Generate and receive Transfer Orders
• Receive and trouble shoot for all incoming and outgoing TOs and POs of LTL or FTL shipments.
• Ensures compliance of all inventory processes and procedures.
• Maintain physical and virtual records of all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored.
• Perform inventory preparation and manage physical inventory process (Weekly and Monthly)
• Perform cycle counts as a daily routine.
• Complete Daily and weekly safety walks/checks.
• Update inventory management systems when Transfer Orders or Purchase orders move in or out of location.
• Work with Plant Manager and Operations Supervisor, to ensure inventory is accurate at all times.
• Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements
• Entering Raw material production activity
• Documentation and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Cleaning Inspection Lubricants (CIL), Process Center Line (PCL) and Critical to Quality Checks (CTQ)
• Audit prep readiness
• Serve as back up Responsible for Quality alert investigation.
• Operate material handling equipment Including potential use of forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or Peloton certification.
• Load and/or unload trucks as required.
• Weigh out raw materials according to a batch card
• Backup/backfill other Logistics roles as necessary
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
