Position located in Norwalk, CT and will be in office 4 days/week.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for representing the department in all HR matters and directing employees to the appropriate HR contact, implementing human resources programs, and providing administrative support to the HR department, including the CHRO, as well as employees regarding recruiting & staffing, employee issues, human resources activities & programs, compliance policies, processes, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative and staffing support for the Human Resources team.
- Assist HRBP’s in recruiting for roles by leveraging current tools (LinkedIn, College recruiting offices, The Monitor, etc.), including vetting and updating the candidate’s applications and resumes.
- Provide support to the Sr. HR Manager and HRBP’s for recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Provide administrative support to the EVP, VP and Sr. Communication Manager of HR as needed.
- Assists Benefits Manager with health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with HRBP’s, candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely and effective communication between all involved.
- Work with HRBP’s and managers on updating job descriptions, competencies and KPI’s as needed.
- Communicate and educate external recruiters on the staffing policies and processes for both internal mobility and external selection.
- Respond to routine HR questions and issues including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, time off, company policies, or redirecting employees to appropriate contacts.
- Responsible for assisting Sr. HR manager with new hire process, and management ofn Business Travel Manager.
- Monitor HR, L&D, FAX, HR News, Recruiting In-boxes and send emails submitted to HR to appropriate HR contact.
- Work with IT and Communications Manager to communicate HR staff changes.
- Update information on HR and Managers Toolbox intranet pages.
- Assist Sr. Communications Manager in preparing staff announcements.
- Oversee and plan logistics for lunch and learns, trainings, and events including room reservations and technology set-up.
- Facilitate and plan wellness initiatives.
- Assist in the planning of Employee Engagement Committee activities, while adhering to annual budget (reviewed with Sr. HR Manager.)
- Provide Employment Verifications for current and former employees. Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned by HR Management

- Project/Deliverable outcomes (completion and timeline).
- Timely hiring for candidates related to recruiting/on-boarding.

- Two to Four years of related HR experience.
- SHRM-CP credential preferred.
Tools and Equipment Used:
- Personal computer, scanner/copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary with occasional overtime depending on business needs.
- Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars.
Physical Demands:
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.
The salary will be between $55,000 - $60,000 with an opportunity to earn (a discretionary annual bonus).
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
