Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable processes, exceptional attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.

Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and process payments (e.g., checks, ACH, wire transfers) in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.

Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role preferred.

Previous experience in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work part-time hours with the possibility of adjusting schedules as needed.
