Junior Fixed Asset Accountant (Onsite - Las Vegas)

Join our team as a Fixed Assets Accountant, reporting to the Manager of Fixed Assets. In this role, you'll be pivotal in ensuring accurate accounting and tracking of fixed assets-related transactions, collaborating closely with finance and operation teams to maintain precise financial records across all business units.

Location: Las Vegas, NV

This Job Pays: about $25-30/hour W2 only plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for fixed assets.
• Complete general ledger processes including posting monthly journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare periodic fixed asset account reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to G.A.A.P and company policies in accounting practices.
• Conduct detailed analysis of fixed asset general ledger accounts.
• Address outstanding concerns/issues identified during analysis and reconciliation.
• Record fixed asset transactions such as additions, transfers, and depreciation in the ERP system.

What Gets You The Job:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting preferred.
• Two years of prior accounting experience, ideally in a large-scale or public accounting setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent time management skills, with the capability to meet deadlines consistently.
