Warehouse Supervisor - Deschutes Brewery

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team in beautiful Bend, Oregon! This role is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of our warehouse team, ranging from receiving raw materials to the outbound shipment of finished goods. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with multiple department leaders to ensure all supply chain processes are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manages, mentors, and develops a diverse team of employees and creates an environment which engages and inspires the team to achieve results at the highest levels.
• Provide department input for scheduling the Packaging, Shipping, Quality Assurance and Maintenance departments.
• Work collaboratively with QA, Packaging, and Brewing teams to resolve product issues.
• Manage all shipping and warehouse assets including buildings, transportation fleet and material handling equipment.
• Ensure proper knowledge of Enterprise Resource System to maintain production and shipping schedules.
• Promote and maintain high standards of safety, honesty, and professionalism across all shifts.
• Oversee and utilize warehouse space for maximum efficiency.
• Participate on other project teams throughout the brewery as assigned.
• Oversee workflow across all shifts.
• Must follow and adhere to all Deschutes Brewery company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• • 2-3 years of production warehouse management experience. This includes managing teams and warehouse processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills using Word, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.

Preferred Education, Experience & Attributes:

• • Supply Chain Management training / certificate (APICS)
  • 3-5 years management experience
  • Class A commercial driver's license with combination and air brake endorsement preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to spend on average of 80% of your time in the office and 20% on the warehouse floor.
• Ability to use computers, phone systems, copiers and printers when in the office, forklifts, and computers when on the warehouse floor.
• Occasionally directly interfacing with materials. This may include infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Occasionally interfacing and operating forklifts, person lifts.
• Occasionally interfacing with yard shuttle, tractor / trailer, and box trucks.
• Ability to work in high-speed manufacturing environment with noise levels that require hearing protection.
