Job description

Armor Brewing Co. | Allen, TX

Armor Brewing Co. is hiring a Brewer to join our production team. This is an all-around production role for someone with at least one year of professional brewing experience who is ready to jump into the day-to-day work of a growing brewpub and production brewery.

The Brewer will work directly with the Head Brewer and production team on brewhouse operations, cellar work, packaging, cleaning, inventory, and general brewery upkeep. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, consistency, and a willingness to do the less glamorous parts of making great beer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Wort production on the brewhouse
  • Cellar work including transfers, dry hopping, fining, carbonation, and tank CIP
  • Yeast handling and fermentation monitoring
  • Packaging support for kegging and canning
  • Cleaning and sanitation throughout the brewery
  • Raw material handling and inventory support
  • Quality checks, record keeping, and daily production documentation
  • General maintenance, organization, and upkeep of the brewery
  • Assisting with taproom, event, and distribution needs as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional brewing experience
  • Strong understanding of brewery cleaning and sanitation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting 55 lb bags, moving kegs, climbing ladders, and working in hot, wet, and cold environments
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and communicate clearly
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required
  • Packaging, cellar, and brewpub experience are all pluses

About the role:

This position is best suited for someone who wants to be involved in the full production process, not just one narrow part of the brewery. We make a wide range of styles, move quickly, and need someone who takes pride in clean work, consistent beer, and helping keep the whole operation running.

Competitive pay, based on experience.
