Position Overview

The Regional Sales Representative plays a key role in driving the continued growth of New Trail Brewing Company, representing a fast-growing, award-winning craft brewery. This position is responsible for expanding sales volume and market presence by building strong relationships with both established and new customers across a large regional territory. The role requires extensive time in the field, collaborating with accounts and wholesale partners to create sustainable growth, brand loyalty, and excitement for both new releases and core offerings.

As New Trail continues its upward trajectory—including being named Craft Brewery of the Year in 2025—this role offers clear opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow relationships with On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts, as well as wholesale partners, across a large regional territory
  • Achieve sales and growth goals established by the Sales Manager through strategic planning and execution
  • Visit existing and prospective accounts to track sales performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges
  • Conduct 60+ account visits per week, with a minimum of 2 prearranged meetings per day
  • Coordinate closely with distributor partners to support sales initiatives, promotions, and marketing programs
  • Submit timely and accurate sales reports
  • Organize and participate in product samplings, on-premise events, and brand engagement activities, including nights and weekends as needed
  • Ensure full compliance with all state and federal laws related to the sale, merchandising, and promotion of alcoholic beverages
  • Make thoughtful, solutions-oriented decisions that benefit both New Trail Brewing Company and its retail partners
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Persistent, resourceful, and passionate about craft beer and relationship-driven sales
  • 2+ years of influential sales experience within the craft beverage industry
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to meet goals with minimal supervision
  • Flexible mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive knowledge of craft beer, industry trends, and emerging market opportunities
  • Professional and polished in both business and social settings
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft or Mac OS, and mobile Android or iOS platforms
  • Holds or can obtain New York ATAP Certification within the first week of employment
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
