Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Maximum Contract Term: April – September (flexible start/end dates)

Compensation: $18–$20/hour plus overtime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Drone Demo Day Coordinator. This full-time, paid internship offers the unique opportunity to be at the heart of our dynamic events, working closely with both our sales and technical teams as well as our marketing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our drone demo days, including logistics, venue coordination, and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Work closely with the drone sales, marketing, and technical teams to coordinate dates and locations for each demo day.
• Venue Logistics: Identify and secure appropriate venues for each event, supporting logistics such as contracts and related paperwork to ensuring the venue meets our technical requirements.
• Marketing Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure successful promotion of the demo days. Responsibilities include customer outreach through phone calls, engaging social media posts, and updates on the Seiler GeoDrones website.
• Travel and Transportation: Responsible for attending approximately 10 of the 30 events, requiring some overnight travel. The ability to drive a large, company-supplied van is required for transporting equipment and materials to various locations.
• Expense Management: A company credit card will be issued to support all related travel and event expenses.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of each demo day, including but not limited to, vendor management, schedule coordination, and on-site logistics during events.
• Reporting: Regularly report to the Marketing and Communications Manager on progress, challenges, and successes.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
• Experience with social media platforms and basic marketing strategies.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various locations as required for the coordination of demo days, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a large company-supplied van.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
