Vice President of Finance, Healthcare (Hybrid)

The Vice President of Finance will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations. This role will provide financial leadership and expertise, partnering with the CEO, CFO, and other members of the executive team to develop and execute our financial strategy. You will work with a talented team of finance professionals and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Controller, Payroll and Accounts Payable functions.
• Work with CFO to develop and implement a long-term financial strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Support the development of new business lines and service offerings from a financial perspective.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for financial operations. Ensure third party insurance policies are maintained.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and tax compliance partners.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to support future growth.
• Support M&A activities pre and post-acquisition. Lead financial analysis and data gathering. Integrate and/or convert acquired entities into the Company’s existing financial systems and processes.
• Ensure accurate coding and billing practices to maximize reimbursement from government and private payers. Overseen mapping of services rendered mapping to the appropriate financial statement classification.
• Ensure accurate revenue capture and integrity of revenue recognition.
• Oversee provider and shareholder compensation processing and ensure that resulting payments are made on a timely basis.
• Support the development of new business lines and service offerings from a financial perspective.
• Analyze the cost-effectiveness of new technologies and capital expenditures. Develop and implement capital asset acquisition policies and procedures. Partner with operational leaders and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and to identify and implement cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within a healthcare organization.
• Experience with Private Equity Firms, Acquisitions & Mergers
• Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Experience in strong data and visualization skills. Knowledge of business intelligence applications such as Tableau or Power BI, etc
• VP of Finance must be located on the West Coast and be willing to travel to Walnut Creek, CA often

Compensation Range:

$188,000.00 to $251,000.00 Annually

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
