The Dough Cone in Houston, TX is looking for one assistant manager to join our 5 person strong team. We are located on 105 Sabine Street Houston Tx 77005. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Stock inventory
• Positive, respectful, communicators only!
• Inventory runs
• Manage production for our wholesale ice cream business at our location sugarland or katy
• Possibly Manage production of donut cones, sauces, and bases for our food truck near bellaire
• Prepare and set out ingredients to be used throughout the day
• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
• Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders

• Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
• Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
• Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place

Qualifications

• Food Handler / Manager's Certification
• Driver's License
• Transportation that is not ride share apps or public transportation - this is important as our food truck travels.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
