Partnerships Manager

The Partnerships Manager serves as liaison and point of contact for outside organizations, representing Silver Ventures efforts to generate new partnerships and to establish Pearl as a destination for corporate partners and group private events.

The Partnerships Manager will lead the experiences of our guests that are coming to experience Pearl in this new way. This individual will be working closely with the Marketing Team, Pearl operators and other internal stakeholders to establish Pearl as a world class destination for corporate and other private events. The success of this role will be measured by Pearl being the place our neighborhood comes to learn, work and celebrate.

This is an on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Essential Functions

The Manager of Partnerships will be accountable for these main areas:

Work with local entities and visiting groups to schedule private events.

Develop and cultivate a new pipeline of corporate partners relationships (sponsors) for private events.

Establish strong relationships throughout partner companies.

Closes all clients out with a courtesy call following their booked event to ensure needs were met throughout the event.

Attends chamber events, breakfasts, lunches and mixers and joins strategic committees, generating new relationships through active networking.

LOCAL GROUP EVENTS

The Manager of Partnerships will establish Pearl as a destination for corporate and group events.

• Create and maintain a target list of company/entity partners within a two-hour radius of Pearl

• Build relationships with local companies and entities that lead to them hosting events at Pearl
• Partner with the company to design and book an event, which may include collaboration with internal stakeholders

VISITING GROUP EVENTS

• Build relationships with local tourism groups (Visit San Antonio, HBG Convention Center) to drive business to Pearl
• Create network of local hotel concierges

CORPORATE SPONSORS

• Partner with Sr. Brand Manager and Marketing Coordinator to develop list of potential local sponsors for Pearl events
  • Movie Mondays
  • Summer DJ Series
  • Fitness events
  • Music events
  • Large-scale celebrations – Fiesta, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc.
• Provide financial recap/ROI of all events

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum five (5) years previous experience in sales, marketing, project management or events
• Bachelor’s degree a plus
