Base Salary: (1st year OTE $100k+; 2nd year OTE $125k+) $65,000 + Uncapped Commission

Our client, a pioneer in the power equipment service industry, seeks a sales rep to expand their business footprint in Northern New Jersey, focusing from Edison and northward. You'll enjoy the balance of remote work and field visits with no overnight travel. Your primary goal is to secure and manage preventative maintenance service contracts, targeting key commercial entities like hospitals and universities. Our client is looking for someone with a high mechanical aptitude and a hunter mentality. Candidates with experience in Generators/Power or HVAC equipment will have an advantage, though our client provides comprehensive training to ensure your success. • Identify new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain existing relationships
• Schedule meetings with prospects
• Act as the main point of contact for customers
• Generate and submit sales reports
• Follow up on lost opportunities
• Attend industry trade shows when needed
• Work with sales team to meet customer needs
• Adhere to company procedures around processes and documentation
• Stay abreast on industry trends
• Recommend marketing strategies to increase sales

• New B2B sales experience required
• 2+ years of selling a mechanical product or solution required
• Driver’s license/reliable transportation required
• Willingness to travel locally in designated territory required
