Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a proactive Business Development Manager who thrives in building professional relationships and excels in sales engagement. This role is crucial for engaging directly with business accounts that can refer work, through both face-to-face meetings and strategic outreach efforts. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives, fostering long-term partnerships, and ensuring our services are the preferred choice within the commercial sector.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Engage in direct outreach and face-to-face interactions with potential business accounts to establish and enhance referral partnerships.
  • Regularly visit account representatives at their offices to introduce our services, negotiate partnerships, and maintain strong ongoing relationships.
  • Utilize LinkedIn, trade shows, and other networking platforms to grow your account list with valuable prospects.
  • Act as a crucial link between accounts and the operations team, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Check in with accounts post-job completion to gather feedback, resolve any issues, and reinforce the relationship.
  • Assist with resolving payment issues for jobs completed, acting as a mediator between the accounts and our finance team to ensure timely payments.
  • Follow up on estimates provided to accounts, facilitating communication between the operations team and the account to improve the close ratio on estimates.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback within our CRM system, using this information to tailor future outreach and service offerings.

What Youll Bring to the Table:


  • At least 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed business accounts.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • High proficiency in using CRM platforms for sales tracking and customer management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing a large territory independently.
