Job description

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for supporting meaningful causes? Join our non-profit client's dynamic team as a Temporary Accountant and play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial processes during a crucial year-end period. This on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable non-profit organization, helping to navigate reconciliations and facilitate audit preparations. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong background in financial reconciliations and ERP systems, we want to hear from you!

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with account reconciliations, preferably within ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or other large-scale platforms
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting processes
  • Ability to extract and organize data efficiently for audits and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ad hoc duties as needed

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior experience working in non-profit sectors
  • Experience supporting year-end close and audit processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to start immediately
  • On-site work required (no remote option)
  • Availability for approximately 4 months, with peak activity around June to August for audits
