We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team as an HVAC Dispatcher in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in HVAC or Construction, with 2+ years of experience. The Service Dispatcher reports to the Service Manager, and is responsible for assisting in the administration, field productivity, and field profitability of the Service Department. Initiative, integrity, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential to achieving departmental and corporate goals in this position. Representative duties include:

• Assisting the Service Manager in the planning, organizing, and coordination of department resources and goals.
• Scheduling service jobs taking into consideration the expected complexity of the job versus the experience and capabilities of available technicians.
• Ordering Parts
• Track inventory, returns, invoices and other paperwork
• Accurately maintain and update customer database in the system
• Communication with Customers, technicians, and other departments within the organization
• Follow up on all completed jobs.
• Maintain organized and complete records.
• Cooperating with all Department Managers in support of all facets of the Service Department's goals and objectives.
• Helping in the resolution of customer complaints in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner, and reporting all such incidents to the Service Manager.
• Performing related staff-level duties as directed by the Service Manager.

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of HVACR technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dispatcher
• High School Diploma or Higher
• Customer service oriented & Good Communication Skills
• Microsoft Word/Excel
• QuickBooks is a PLUS
• Knowledge of the city is an asset
• Able to work under pressure
• Highly motivated

The successful candidate should have some experience in bookkeeping/data entry, and preferably has work experience with QuickBooks. The candidate must be able to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.

We are looking for an individual with very good overall computer and typing skills. Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing/typing). An individual who is able to work under pressure, who is reliable, honest and self-managed.
